Our Machu Picchu Full Day tour begins with a unique experience from Cusco, connecting you with the essence of the Sacred Valley of the Incas as we head towards Ollantaytambo. The train journey to Aguas Calientes is undoubtedly one of the most special moments of the trip. Upon arrival, the Machu Picchu Full Day experience continues with the ascent to the citadel, where history and nature converge in an unparalleled setting. During the guided tour, we will discover key areas such as the Temple of the Sun, the Main Plaza, and the Intihuatana , gaining insight into the grandeur of the Inca civilization. Hotel Pickup: Pickup from your accommodation in Cusco around 3:45 AM
Transfer to Ollantaytambo: Travel through the Sacred Valley (approx. 1 hour 45 minutes)
Train to Aguas Calientes: Scenic train ride with views of mountains, rivers, and terraces (approx. 1 hour 45 minutes)
Arrival in Aguas Calientes: Free time for breakfast and preparation before entering Machu Picchu
Bus to Machu Picchu: 35-minute bus ride to the archaeological park
Guided Tour in Machu Picchu: 2-hour guided visit exploring the Main Plaza, urban sector, Circular Tower, Sun Dial, and Inca Cemetery
Free Time in Machu Picchu: Time to take photos and enjoy the landscapes
Return to Aguas Calientes: Bus descent back to the town
Free Time: Optional visit to thermal baths or explore the town
Train Back to Ollantaytambo: Afternoon/evening train ride back

- Entry times at Machu Picchu are subject to availability.
- Train schedules are subject to availability and/or changes by the railway company.
- To book this tour, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required.
- The sooner you book, the better the train and Machu Picchu entrance times we can arrange.
- The tour is offered in two languages: English and Spanish.
- Requirements: a high level of physical fitness is not required, but good health is necessary.

- If there are no tickets available for Circuit 2, alternatives for Circuits 1 or 3 are offered at an additional cost.

Yes, it is highly recommended to book in advance, especially during high season (May to September), as entrance tickets and train seats can sell out quickly.
What is the difficulty level of this tour?
The tour is considered easy to moderate. Most of the journey is by transport, with walking inside Machu Picchu on uneven terrain and stairs.
Is altitude sickness a concern?
Yes, Cusco is located at high altitude (3,400 m), so it is recommended to acclimatize for at least 1–2 days before the tour.
