Embark on a deeper journey into the Manu National Park, where the Andes meet the Amazon. This 4-day expedition offers a more immersive rainforest experience, combining cloud forest exploration, river navigation, and extended jungle hikes.
Travel through diverse ecosystems, from high mountain landscapes to dense tropical rainforest, encountering incredible biodiversity along the way. Spot iconic species such as the cock-of-the-rock, monkeys, reptiles, and a wide variety of birds.
Navigate the Alto Madre de Dios River and explore the Machuwasi lagoon, where you may encounter hoatzins, capybaras, caimans, and other Amazon wildlife. The experience continues deeper into the jungle with visits to parrot clay licks, ancient rainforest trails, and massive trees like the ceiba.
With more time in the jungle, this tour increases your chances of wildlife encounters and allows for a more complete Amazon experience, including multiple night walks and deeper exploration.

Drive through the Andes to Ajanaco (3,500 m)
Descent into cloud forest
Wildlife spotting: cock-of-the-rock, quetzals, trogons
